Kettering Health Network is...
Dayton Community
Health care is close to home with Kettering Health Network covering the Dayton landscape with over 60 state-of-the-art facilities, including four of the nation's 100 Top Hospitals, a Behavioral Medicine hospital for adults and adolescents, and our Kettering College of Medical Arts. And we now serve Greene County with Greene memorial Hospital joining the Network.
People
Patients receive compassionate care from over 8,000 employees, over 1,200 physicians, and over 1,000 volunteers who perform sacred work everyday to complete our faith-based mission. Our Network won the Dayton Business Journal's coveted Best Places to Work award three years in a row.
Dayton Growth
The local economy benefits greatly from its third largest employer that also provides charity healthcare and significant support to civic, charitable and performing arts organizations. Ongoing construction to grow the Network includes construction of the Schuster Heart Hospital at Kettering Medial Center and the West Wing addition at Grandview Medical Center.
Innovation
Our network carries on a heritage of innovation from Charles F. Kettering, the namesake of Kettering Medical Center and the entire Network. His innovative thinking led to many new inventions and ideas. The network provides our patients with the latest technologies such as Gamma Knife, da Vinci Surgeries, and our Blood Conservation Program.
Education
The Kettering College of Medical Arts is home to 900 students in nursing, imaging, and other career tracks and is located on campus at Kettering Medical Center. All of our Network hospitals are teaching hospitals with programs for educating future physicians, nurses, other medical staff, and community support professionals such as EMS squads.
Faith-Based
All patients are treated with love and respect regardless of religious preference. Multi-denominational Spiritual Services are offered at the network everyday.
Life's Journey
Kettering Health Network can provide you with the healthcare you need throughout your life journey. From life's beginnings in Maternity, through life's emergencies, to surgery needs. We even have a campus in Miamisburg with every senior living accommodation imaginable.
Award Winning
Kettering, Grandview, Sycamore and Southview Medical Centers have all received prestigious 100 Top Hospital recognitions by Thomson Reuters. Our hospitals are among the top 100 among 5,000 in the country because patients are less likely to have a complication, an adverse patient safety event, or die unnecessarily. In addition to this award all four of these Network hospitals are Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center accredited.
