Looking Forward to 2011 and Beyond

Fred Manchur As we celebrate the holidays with our family and friends, we can also celebrate the end of a very successful year and decade for Kettering Health Network. So many good things have happened. Thanks to the day-to-day contribution of our workforce, KHN has received well-earned recognition and we continue to grow and develop throughout the region.

I am grateful to be your new Chief Executive Officer and am very much looking forward to working with our outstanding teams across all of our facilities within our Network.

I have always been proud of the KHN mission – to improve the quality of life of the people in the communities we serve. Like you, I am grateful to be able to contribute to that sacred mission.

In my new role, I promise to serve our patients by keeping our focus on outstanding quality and patient satisfaction. I am passionately committed to creating patient experiences that give hope and healing when people need it the most. Our patients truly deserve our best, every place, every time, everywhere. I am also committed to the people who embody the KHN mission – our employees, physicians, volunteers and our Board members. You are the hands and heart of KHN’s mission.

There is much to look forward to throughout our Network in 2011:

  • Continued progress on the West Wing at Grandview Medical Center;
  • Expansion of the Kettering Medical Center campus;
  • Continued construction of the Indu and Raj Soin Medical Center;
  • Enhancement of the Greene Memorial Hospital campus;
  • Purposeful marketing for growth at the Sycamore and Southview campuses;
  • The further integration of Fort Hamilton Hospital into our Network family; and
  • The continued development of Kettering College as a premier medical sciences college.
Thank you for making Kettering Health Network one of the Top 10 Health Systems in the Nation and a prominent leader in health care quality, excellence and innovation – we can all look forward to the coming decade with confidence and enthusiasm.

God bless

Fred Manchur
